Event Description

We would like to invite you to join senior leaders from the 63 major companies in the Auburn-Opelika area for an informal 1-hour lunch presentation on September 2 at the Auburn Center for Developing Industries (ACDI), 1500 Pumphrey Avenue, Auburn.

We are facilitating our second annual industry connection/networking opportunity for industry in order to meet Dr. Bill Hardgrave; the new Dean of Auburn’s the College of Business and an introduction to the Alabama Operations Management Institute (AOMI). AOMI is the vision of Bill Taylor former CEO of MBUSI, now president of the Economic Development Partnership of Alabama (EDPA) and a means to share the Mercedes-Benz Production system, its tools and techniques, with other Alabama businesses.

We will start promptly at 11:30 a.m. and conclude promptly at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 2. Pumphrey Avenue is in the general vicinity of the City of Auburn Water Department offices in the old Auburn industrial park off Shug-Jordan Parkway.

We need an RSVP for planning food arrangements by August 31. Response can be back to me (burdghb@auburn.edu) or to Nicole Merritt at 844-4271 (merrihn@auburn.edu).
