If the U.S. continues to neglect the manufacturing sector, output could fall by half to meeting less than 40 percent of the nation’s demand, according to a new study by Booz & Co. and the University of Michigan’s Tauber Institute for Global Operations, Manufacturing’s Wake-up Call.
